Dried Cottonwood Leaves

Create a natural forest floor for your isopods with dried cottonwood leaves. Leaf litter gives isopods places to hide and explore while providing organic material they can graze on as it softens and decomposes. It also helps complete the look of a bioactive enclosure.

Spread a layer over the substrate, including some near the moist side of the enclosure. As the leaves break down and your isopods consume them, add more to keep leaf litter available. Cottonwood leaves can be used alongside cork bark, moss, and other habitat materials.

Because this is a natural product, leaf size, color, and shape will vary. Cracking and small pieces are normal for dried leaves.

For use in: Isopod enclosures and bioactive terrariums.
